Current Disease Threats for Cultivated Crab Eriocheir sinensis in China

The Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis, is a commercially important crustacean in China due to its great commercial value and compatibility variety of aquaculture systems. However, increases production have been accompanied by the emergence various diseases affecting yield, profit, trading potential. In this study, we review pathogenic agents associated with E. sinensis since start culture. history crab cultivation implies that increased pathogen transfer can occur as grows because polyculture other species prevalent practice. With mind, special focus placed on pathogens were initially discovered but demonstrated infect cause disease sinensis. We expect will not only offer recommendations for management sector also advance cultivation.
